Policies

The most important rule of Geekway to the West is to have fun! That said, we do have a few policies to be abided.

Partial Admissions - Admissions are one price and valid for all four days. There will be a limited number of two-day weekend admissions sold online, space permitting.

Children - Children under 16 are allowed as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Children should be able to generally entertain themselves and not interfere with others enjoyment.

Harassment - Don't harass the other guests. If you're being harassed by a guest, please let us know immediately and we will handle it. Click here for our full Harassment Policy.

Alcohol - Alcohol is allowed in the gaming area, subject to all laws and rules. Drunkeness, Brawling, and General Rowdiness will be dealt with at the discretion of the organizers.

Sportsmanship - Don't be a jerk.

Payment - We prefer you to use Paypal. Checks or alternate forms of payment can be discussed with us via email. Payment in person at the con is accepted, subject to our limits on space. Payments are good for the current year only and can not be applied to future years.

Refunds - You can receive a full refund (minus Paypal fees) any time up to two weeks prior to the convention. After that, we cannot process refunds.

Badges - No swapping/lending of badges is allowed. Badges should be worn prominently at all times.

Lost Items/Theft - Geekway LLC is not responsible for any lost or stolen property.

Smoking - In accordance with Hotel Policy and Local Laws, there is no smoking in the convention area.
